This 1-day, on-site course is a hands-on tutorial for people who need to use XML to create and edit content.
Users will work with an XML editor to create and manipulate documents; however, the emphasis will be on learning about XML, not about the editing software.
Topics to be covered include: elements and attributes, DTD's/schema's and validation, special characters, types of content (tables, figures, and links), differences between XML editing and word processing, common XML document problems and solutions, automated HTML generation and automated PDF generation.
There are no prerequisites for this course aside from basic computer skills.
